Operations, Finance & Business Management
As part of the Operations, Finance & Business Management programme you will gain a broad and enriching insight into JPMorgan's core business functions. We offer a specialist rotational programme which allows you to experience a wide range of roles across diverse business areas and strategic functions. You will get the chance to work in both line and project based roles. These rotations will give you the exposure required to develop and enhance your cross-business understanding, which is critical for your career development at JPMorgan.
Whatever department you join, you'll have to be up-to-speed very quickly. One thing is certain: everything you do will occur in the context of a fast-changing, fast-moving marketplace. Flexible rotations will mean that wherever you start, you will gain a phenomenal breadth of experience and business insight.
During your time on the Operations, Finance & Business Management graduate programme, you could be working in Investment Banking, Asset & Wealth Management or Treasury & Securities Services. Client Services
A role in Client Services allows you to manage the requirements of different internal and external clients and partnerships with colleagues in the front office, CFO's, back office, market risk and technology. Responsibilities aside supporting the marketing teams, includes monitoring our client transactions reputational risk, serving as point of escalation for priority clients across products and responding to trading issues across settlement, confirmation, collateral and client valuation. The goal is to deliver an integrated, seamless and business focused trading services to clients using efficient internal and external technology solutions.
Trade Management
Trade management covers a number of roles across the lifecycle of a trade. You could be a trader assistant on the trading floor, or be responsible for accurate Profit and Loss reporting for the European trading desk. You will be identifying opportunities for continuous process re-engineering to cope with the ever-changing intricacies of systems, products and markets. You'll need particularly strong communication skills as you'll be working with colleagues across the globe in a fast-paced environment. You will also act as a point of contact for any queries or problems which may arise and strive to deliver accurate reports in a timely fashion. Strong teamwork, attention to detail and numerical skills will be vital for your success in this area.
Risk Management
Managing risk is critical to the reputation of the JPMorgan brand and the success of our business. Risk Management covers a number of roles which fall into three broad categories; Operational Risk, Market Risk and Credit Risk. Operational Risk ensures we have the right controls in place throughout the lifecycle of a trade. Market Risk involves working closely with the front office producing reports to assist their trading strategies. Within Credit Risk, you will work closely with the Client Credit Managers and Credit Executives to ensure that the appropriate credit limits are set up for each client and to monitor our credit exposure with our clients. In each case analysts would need to be proactive and very strong analytically in these roles. |
