What might you be doing?

Whether you work in client services or in trade management or something else entirely, as part of the Operations, Finance & Business Management programme you’ll gain an exceptional insight into JPMorgan’s core business functions. We offer summer internships or longer intern placements of 6 to 12 months.  These internships will increase your understanding of what we do, why we do it and how we do it.  Whatever department you join, you'll have to be up-to-speed very quickly as you will immediately be one of the team. One thing is certain:  everything you do will occur in the context of a fast-changing, fast-moving marketplace.  During your internship, you will gain a phenomenal breadth of experience and business insight.

As an intern on the Operations, Finance & Business Management programme, you could be working in Investment Banking, Asset Management or Treasury & Securities Services.  You will have the opportunity to experience one of the many roles in functions such as Client Services, Trade Management, Risk Management and Finance & Business Management. 

Internship positions cover various functions and the work you could be doing may range from owning and delivering a small project to working with a team supporting a trading desk. You will need strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team to meet targets and deliver.

You will be exposed to different internal and external clients and will be required to manage partnerships with colleagues spanning different business areas and groups across the U.K. and the globe in a fast paced and challenging environment. 

As a JPMorgan intern not only will you gain valuable experience through your everyday role but you will also be a member of a network of interns who are given numerous opportunities to learn more about the business and develop the skills needed to perform.  You will be invited to attend business presentations and skills workshops to improve your understanding of the organization and the opportunities available.
