As a socially responsible business committed to direct action in the community and making a difference wherever possible, we've chosen to do something more worthwhile with our annual 'campus giveaways' budget. Well, far more worthwhile than a collection of JPMorgan yo-yos or frisbees. We're channeling the money saved and allowing you to choose a favorite charity to which the funds will be donated. And it all adds up. For the sacrifice of a cheap giveaway here and there, one of these three charities will benefit from our cash contribution of £15,000:

At JPMorgan we believe that our success is inextricably linked to the health of the communities in which we operate around the world. Our philanthropic activity is focused within three main areas; education, arts & culture and building communities of the future. Our involvement is hands-on, we believe our support is not just about handing over financial assistance, but also about creating opportunities for employee engagement. We believe in making a real and long-term connection with the communities in which we work.
The three charities below are a sample of the many we support in this way.
Stay tuned for the official announcement on which non-profit organisation will receive £15,000 from JPMorgan.

Children in Crisis
Children in Crisis' vision is of a world where all children have access to education to enable them to fulfil their potential to live positive, healthy lives and contribute to the development of the societies in which they live. Worldwide, 77 million children do not have access to education, 39m are in post conflict countries. Children in Crisis is working with local communities in 10 countries to provide educational opportunities as a route out of poverty for the world's most vulnerable children. In countries recovering from conflict, where there is little educational infrastructure, they help to rebuild schools that have been destroyed and to train teachers. Children in Crisis believes that education helps create routes out of the poverty cycle, reducing the need for long term support for families and communities. Education benefits children, their families, communities and ultimately their country.
