Join us and the first thing we'll do is fly you to New York for an eight week training programme with your peers who have joined the Investment Bank and Markets businesses.  Your trainers are consultants with recognised expertise in their fields as well as JPMorgan professionals.  It's a challenging and interactive learning process with extensive use of deal-based case studies and hands-on modelling workshops.  Concepts and skills to be mastered include those related to accounting, corporate finance, financial statement analysis, economics, valuation analytics and the capital markets.  By the end of training, you'll have built a framework for understanding how JPMorgan supports its clients' strategic initiatives with solutions that incorporate world-class advisory, innovative financing and superior capital markets execution from a global network of market leaders.

On your return from training in New York you’ll become part of a dedicated programme aimed at providing you with continuous support and development opportunities as you progress through your career from analyst to associate and beyond. In addition to the opportunity to rotate between the various divisions within Risk there is a programme of events from formal full day courses to shorter informal sessions, mixing training and career management. Your technical skills will be further enhanced through our Risk University programme which covers a multitude of topics on risk management techniques, derivative structures and loan product knowledge. In addition bespoke courses will train you in practical techniques such as communication and negotiation. You’ll also be invited to participate in Investment Bank and Markets University courses which will broaden your knowledge around those areas of interest. These courses are presented by a combination of in-house experts and external professionals. These programmes provide excellent opportunities to network with your peers and senior management.
